It is like going from a pair of earbuds (onboard stock motherboard audio) to a pair of Bose headphones and between it and my x41 I get exception optical audio and dolbly digital wireless 7. The packaging was perfect and the product could have been new it was in such good condition but it was more of an oem as all you will get is the soundcard but I do not mind that or, even though it blocks up half of my you bit peing pcie I haven't had any heating problems and a noticable increase in multimedia enjoyment as everything is more cinematic. I was very impressed by how fast the soundcard got here (a week sooner than the ETA at order) Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2021 Windows 10 Pro 圆4 version 21H1 and X-Fi Titanium Works perfectly with the latest version of Windows 10 and the latest Windows 11 preview build. (for P370SM-A only) SBX370.zip: USA ASIA EUROPE: 75078: 0: Optional Device: Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 AP (1.00.04) for Windows 8.1 64-bit version. They gave this card the right name, Titanium. Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 AP (1.00.04) for Windows 8.1 64-bit version. Now I can crank it up as loud as I can stand it and the sound no longer breaks up at the higher volume levels. I use the optical out to my Polk Audio soundbar/sub and it sounds amazing. My "speaker" system is a Razer Tiamat 7.1 v2 and it sounds incredible.

Daniel K's driver and software loaded up perfectly and everything works. Got it installed and loaded up Daniel K's XFI SupportPack 8.0, and holy cow! I got my X-Fi sound back! Blows the Audigy and Realtek audio out of the water.
If I didn't know any better, I'd have thought this card was brand new, never used.
Then I found this PCIe version on Amazon. Switched over to on-board Realtek HD Audio and it sounded pretty good.

Tried a bunch of different drivers to no avail. Having to "break-out" the channels with three-way splitter cables was simple enough, but they introduced a constant hum that I couldn't get rid of. Missed my old X-Fi but couldn't use it for my new build as it is PCI.
